The Government of Ukraine has launched preparations for the privatization process, the Prime Minister said at a Cabinet’s meeting on Thursday, July 17.

"We will determine the exact date of privatization, when we can achieve the highest level of prices for the sale of these facilities," he added.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk has informed that at the meeting of the Government will be considered a privatization list in 2014.

"We realize that in current conditions, on the one hand, it is necessary to close the gap in the state budget, sell state assets and hereby to additionally finance expenditures on defense and infrastructure recovery. But I officially declare that the Government shall not sell state assets at a low price," emphasized the Prime Minister.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk has noted that these issues will be consulted with our Western partners. "It is tough decisions, but we are going to take and implement them."
