Prime Minister of
Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk appealed to the European Union to start checking the
actions of the Russian Federation directed to reducing gas deliveries to the EU
member states. He announced at a meeting with the President of the Republic of Estonia
Toomas Hendrik Ilves on Thursday, September 11.
The Head of the
Ukrainian Government believes that such actions of the Russian Federation appear
“a distinct sign of Russia being untrustworthy as a gas supplier".
He informed that the Ministry
of Energy and Coal Industry had addressed the European Commission with a
request to start checking these actions of Russia.
