Gov't members took part in the ceremony to commemorate the liquidators of the Chornobyl accident

On Sunday, December 14, members of the Government of Ukraine took part in the ceremony to pay the tribute to the participants of liquidation of consequences of the accident at the Chornobyl nuclear power plant.

The event was attended by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valerii Voshchevskii, Minister of Defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalia Yaresko, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko, Minister of Health of Ukraine Oleksandr Kvitashvili, Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Ihor Zhdanov, Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets.

They laid flowers to the memorial sign “To the Warriors of Chernobyl" and to the memorial mound "To the Heroes of Chornobyl” in Kiev. The participants of the ceremony honored the memory of liquidators of the Chornobyl accident with a moment of silence.
