On
Wednesday, December
17, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk received Vice President of the European Commission, High Representative
of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.
The
Prime Minister stressed the
importance of achieving quick results for the key priorities of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU: the implementation of
the Association Agreement, the financial and economic stabilization in Ukraine, the introduction of a visa-free regime for the Ukrainians, the fight against corruption.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Federica Mogherini paid significant attention to the security and humanitarian situation in the territories temporarily controlled by the Russia-led terrorists. The Prime Minister of Ukraine confirmed the Government's intention to continue its efforts on the delivery of humanitarian assistance in close cooperation with international organizations.
