On Wednesday, 7 January, a Government delegation led by Prime Minister
of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk is off on a two-day official visit to Berlin at
the invitation of Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The delegation comprises Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalia Jaresko, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of
Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius,
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Chairman of the Board
of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev.
In Berlin, the Prime Minister of Ukraine is scheduled to meet with the
Federal President of Germany Joachim Gauck, Federal
Chancellor Angela Merkel, as well as with representatives of German business
and financial circles. On 8 January, the Prime Minister will speak in the German Association of Foreign Policy.
The delegation has flown by plane; the format of the visit provides for
the costs of the stay of the official delegation in Berlin at the expense of
the receiving party.
