The Government of the Republic of Poland announced a loan program for the Ukrainian economy worth EUR 100 million for a period of over ten years. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a media conference on Monday, January 19, following the Ukrainian-Polish intergovernmental consultations chaired by Head of the Government of Ukraine and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Poland Ewa Kopacz.

"This is a peculiar support for small and medium-sized businesses, entrepreneurs and the national economy", said Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

He emphasized that such loan should meet the OECD criteria (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development).

"Our bilateral Commission on trade and economic cooperation will separately develop a model for the implementation of this credit agreement", informed the Head of Ukrainian Government.
