The Government has found UAH 2 billion to help those areas that have the lack of funds to pay wages to workers of a budgetary sphere. Wage arrears will be repaid in full by the end of this month, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk in 10 minutes with the Prime Minister program, answering questions of Facebook users.

The Prime Minister noted that to settle a problem with non-payment in Chernivtsi he had talked to the head of Chernivtsi regional state administration and the Ministry of Finance: "We do have in many regions certain areas that do not have sufficient funds to pay the salaries to employees of pre-school educational institutions, as payroll resource for such category is contained in the local budget".

Arseniy Yatsenyuk informed that the Government "has found UAH 2 billion to help those districts that have the lack of funds to pay wages to workers of a budgetary sphere": "The next week we will adopt a resolution, the areas that need bailout will get money, and all arrears will be repaid".

Arseniy Yatsenyuk also views it unacceptable when similar situations cannot be solved at the regional level: "What would people do if they had no access to Facebook and if this question hadn’t reached the Prime Minister of Ukraine? The state machine should work, heads of district and regional state administrations should not engage in publicity moves, but do concrete work instead. The arrears in wages, pensions must be repaid everywhere. Subsidies should be assigned. But someone who fails to do his job is subject to disciplinary action. So, these persons will be punished."
