On Wednesday, September 16, at a governmental meeting Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk appealed to local authorities and RSA and DSA heads: "You are responsible for making funds, allocated by the Government, reach every citizen out of 12.5 million that fall under the Government’s program on raising social standards."

Arseniy Yatsenyuk has informed that at today's meeting the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopts a resolution on approval of a new tariff scale consisting of 25 ranks.

He said that under the first rank qualified workers - teachers, doctors, cultural workers - "will receive plus almost 19% to the current salary instead of plus 13% to the current level of wages."

"On pensions, other social benefits, the minimum raise will be plus 13%," said the Prime Minister.

"In order to avoid manipulating with figures at the local level and to provide guaranteed payment of these funds to our doctors, teachers, cultural workers, state employees, pensioners – the Cabinet of Ministers approves today specific figures for each tariff category," Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasised.

A resolution, he has pointed out, will come into force from the date of entry into force of the Governmental amendments to the Law on State Budget: "As soon as the Parliament votes for the budget law, the resolution comes into force, we will immediately provide additional payments to 12.5 million of Ukrainian citizens."
