"Next week we
will engage in substantive discussions with all parliamentary factions, so that
to minimize political debates in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and arrive at practical solutions regarding the vote on crucial laws
for Ukraine", announced Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a
Government session on Wednesday, November 11.
He stressed that the
level of adoption of government bills in Parliament "is
far from what we expected after signing of the
coalition agreement": "Only 40% of laws are enacted. Unfortunately, 60% of
them just remain on the shelves of
the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine".
Minister reminded the coalition agreement contains the reforms much needed to stabilize
the economic and social situation within the country: "The Government is ready to continue an
open debate to facilitate gradual advancement by Ukraine along the reform path, those
reforms signed by the entire Ukrainian coalition".
