Ukrainian Red Crescent Society and Qatar Red Crescent Society signed а Memorandum to launch a $400,000 relief program for the victims of the military actions in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The targeted humanitarian assistance will be provided for 8,500 internally displaced citizens of Ukraine.

The decision of the Qatari non-governmental organization aims to help the affected civilian population in the eastern part of Ukraine and is based on solidarity and humanitarian principles to save the lives and preserve human dignity. Such humanitarian actions are a proof of the attention paid by the Qatari society to situation in Ukraine.
