Volodymyr Groysman: The process of reviving and growth of the Ukrainian economy has commenced

Ukraine's economy demonstrates a growing dynamics, thereby affording to fill the State budget and to invest in improving the quality of life of the Ukrainian people and citizens. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced while opening a Government meeting on Wednesday.

"In fact, today we observe in the first half year the GDP growth. We observe the revival in economic environment”, said Volodymyr Groysman. Moreover, we have today decelerating rates of inflation, as it shows statistics data. That is, the process reviving and growth has triggered. Our task is to ensure sustainable growth so that people could feel it".

Economic growth and budget revenues entailed by this growth will create opportunities for financing of other socially significant expenses from the budget, stressed Volodymyr Groysman.

"I understand that all these numbers imply rather difficult living conditions. I am well aware of what hardship the people face, but the fact that we have some positive trends and signals suggest that painstaking work, the cooperation with the Parliament, cooperation with the President, will enable us primarily to fill the Ukrainian budget, and through filling of the Ukrainian budget as a result of the economic growth to invest in the quality of life of the Ukrainian people and citizens," he said.

The Prime Minister highlighted that preserving economic stability and facilitating economic boost are among topmost objectives for the Government. Positive dynamics in the economy has become a result of the set tasks and work of the previous Cabinet, he noted.
