For Ukraine it is essential to create transparent conditions, so that no single hryvnia would be spent to satisfy interests other than those of the country, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during a Government meeting on Wednesday.

He noted that today marks a year of operation of a Single web portal for the use of public funds E-data where can be found all the procedures on the use of funds from the State Budget.

Volodymyr Groysman reminded that a year before when he had been Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the Law of Ukraine "On the open use of public funds" had been approved, thus enabling to launch this project.

In this context, the Prime Minister once again urged the public to monitor the expenditure of public resources by "all those involved".

"We must create transparent conditions, so that no single hryvnia would be spent to satisfy interests other than those of the country", he stressed.

According to him, it is crucial to ensure that Ukrainian citizens understood where public funds are spent.

"We have a lot of areas where we have problems today. But I think such mechanisms as E-data, ProZorro [the electronic system of public procurement] are capable to raise the efficiency of use of our resources", stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
