Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman held talks with
President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker
One of the main topics to ponder on was enhancement of cooperation
between Ukraine and the European Union in economic and energy sectors.
Volodymyr Groysman thanked the European Commission for the
decision to grant Ukraine additional trade preferences for Ukrainian producers.
"Their approval will facilitate more dynamic development of our bilateral
trade", he said.
According to him, the support for Ukrainian
producers and enlargement of opportunities in the EU market is an important
point of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.
and Jean-Claude Juncker also coordinated actions in
the energy sector. In this context the parties discussed issues of energy
security of the EU and the importance of Ukraine as a gas transit partner.

markets of Ukraine and the EU, noted the Head of Ukrainian Government.
Ukraine relies on continued support and
solidarity of the European Commission in the context of counteraction to the
implementation of political projects Nord Stream 2 and the Turkish Stream,
