New officers of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, selected in the framework of reforming its system, have to symbolize an entirely new approach to the execution of functions of the state, culture, quality, openness and transparency. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced during the launch of the next stage of the pilot project "New Face of the Border".

"This stage of a new wave of the recruitment campaign is called "New Face of the Border". I'll rephrase it and say that in fact you are the face of the country, because a person who comes to Ukraine, immediately sees your face – the face of border guards of Ukraine, which should be the symbol of a completely new approach, culture, quality, openness, transparency", said Volodymyr Groysman in his address.

The Head of Government stressed the significance of the change and reforming of the national border guard service. To ensure fast transformation it is necessary to start with yourself, says Volodymyr Groysman: "to reform an outdated system, to introduce new principles of work in order to serve your country with honor".

The Prime Minister called on new border guards "to serve faithfully and loyally to the country," while for its part, the society will demonstrate greater support for the officers, he assured.

"I wish that your action would become an example for many others of how to update and create new approaches to state functions performance”, said Volodymyr Groysman appealing to the new guards. “A reward for this service will be the success of our wonderful, democratic, strong, European Ukrainian state."

During the festivities dedicated to the launch of another stage of the pilot project "New Face of the Border ", the Head of Government along with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the USA in Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch gave a start to the new stage of border guards recruitment campaign.
