Ukraine is committed to implement its obligations in the framework of the reform program launched in 2015 and in accordance with the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, hence initiates discussion of a new support program. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during talks with President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker. The meeting took place within the framework of the Ukraine-EU summit, which started in Kyiv.

Volodymyr Groysman stressed that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine works on the creation of an innovative instrument for monitoring the implementation of the Association Agreement, the so-called Pulse Agreement, which will be launched starting from September 2017 and counts on the relevant EU support in this direction.

The Prime Minister also thanked the European Union for the overwhelming support of the development of mutual trade and for granting additional trade preferences for Ukraine.

Speaking about military aggression against Ukraine, Volodymyr Groysman stressed the interest in the EU assistance regarding social adaptation and reintegration of internally displaced persons and also invited European partners to join the program of supporting reconstruction projects in Donbass.
