The
situation in Kalynivka, where this week an ammunition
depot caught fire setting off explosions, is under
full control, and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has already allocated UAH
100 million to conduct all necessary recovery - primarily rebuilding of housing
facilities, schools and infrastructure. This was stated by Prime Minister of
Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman on
a visit to Kalynivka, during which he has flown over sites
destroyed by fire and held a meeting of the staff for the elimination of the
consequences of the accident.
"The
work has begun," the Head of Government said, ”The
Government has allotted UAH 100 million. We will fund (all works) in full. I commissioned
the local authorities to determine the responsibility for each village, for
each territory (for carrying out all necessary activities and identifying the demands
for materials and services). Final activities to liquidate the consequences of
the fire and demining are being completed. No one will be left without
attention."
Volodymyr
Groysman added that the Vinnytsia
Regional State Administration will manage the funds allocated by the
Government. "By the end of the day, funds will be on the account, there
will be no delays," said the Prime Minister, “I want to convey the words
of gratitude to ordinary citizens for their support. I'm proud of the people.
When we demonstrate unity in difficult moments, I believe that we have a
future. "
The Head of
Government also stressed that special attention should be paid to thorough
investigation of the causes of the fire, so that all the guilty would be
punished and the situation would never repeat.
