The first phase
of the reconstructed complex of the Okhmatdyt
Children's Clinical Hospital received a certificate of readiness of the
facility, thus it will be prepared to receive patients next year. This was

Government informed that construction of the second stage of the hospital will
commence in 2018.
"We have accumulated
sufficient funding. If used efficiently the activities would be completed
timely. I think that in 16-18 months we will finalize the planned construction
work," stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
He thanked the
Government team, the team of the Ministry of Health and all those who engaged
in the construction of the Okhmatdyt.

construction of the newly reconstructed complex of the Okhmatdyt
Children's Clinical Hospital began in December 2011. However, less than a year
it was suspended for various reasons. Partial restoration of construction work
was kicked off in 2015 after the facility was transferred under the management
of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and budget funding was allocated for
construction. In October 2016, all works were fully restored. In total, 395
million UAH were allocated for the construction of the hospital, 93% of funds
were utilized. This year, a sum worth UAH 380 million has been directed to the
construction, the volume of utilized appropriations is equal to 93% and
moreover, the Government adjusted the total cost of the project.
