TIDE Hackathon 2018: Ukrainian service personnel are winners

Within the framework of implementation of NATO Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) Trust Fund the Ukrainian service members participated in TIDE Hackathon 2018 held on March 19-23 in Podgorica, Montenegro.

Last year the Ukrainian participants won Hackathon Modeling Challenge and Coding Challenge held in London.

This year the competition (Modeling Challenge, Coding Challenge, Joint Challenge) brought together 14 teams from 8 countries including England, Norway, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Romania, and Montenegro.

Modeling Challenge  the Ukrainian team won the third prize.

Coding Challenge  the Ukrainian team won the second prize.

Joint Challenge  the Ukrainian team won the first prize.

The gained experience will be used within implementation of national projects dedicated to development and realization of C4ISR elements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as  organization of the national Hackathon 2018.

This competition is a way to perfect the skills, its a great opportunity to meet new people-programmers and communicate. We are strong together, Chief of Signal Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Major General Volodymyr Rapko said.
