"We face great challenges, but we will overcome them if we are united, if we believe and we are confident in our victory," said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at the ceremony of starting the academic year on the Day of Knowledge.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk and his wife Theresa took to the celebration of the First of September their daughters Christine and Sophia. Christina is the ninth grade pupil, Sofia - the fifth.

He congratulated the children, parents and teachers on the occasion. He noted that in Kiev all schools were opened on the Day of Knowledge: "It is a sign that we are invincible".

However, said Arseniy Yatsenyuk, not every corner of Ukraine has peaceful sky: The peaceful sky should be fought for. The entire country, a huge united national front should do that.

He wished everyone confidence and faith: "We will never surrender. We are answerable for Ukraine, for our future, our children and families. We will protect the state, protect our families and the future - be sure of that. We have the spirit, faith and strength, so we are invincible".

Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that he was due to attend Dnepropetrovsk to meet with the soldiers who had broken out of the encirclement in Illovaysk.
