of Ukraine noted that all are witnesses of how certain members of the WTO don’t
follow with the assumed commitments and impose politically motivated trade

since the previous Conference, Ukraine had passed through serious challenges,
including severe economic and trade crisis, caused primarily by the illegal
annexation of Crimea, the military conflict in the East of the country and the
consequent loss of production capacities in the conflict zone, as well as the
restrictions imposed by the Russian Federation.
Nataliya Mykolska reminded that in the current year Ukraine had ratified
the Agreement on the simplification of trade procedures and had been invited to
join the Agreement on government procurement (GPA).
