Aid convoys with basic commodities from Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv to be sent to Donbas

On Thursday, August 14, at 11:00 columns of trucks from the three cities of Ukraine - Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv will be sent for the residents of Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

 The destination for the humanitarian assistance convoys was determined Starobilsk (Luhansk region), where, pursuant to the international norms, it will be received by representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The Red Cross will distribute the aid among the civilians of Luhansk and Donetsk regions who happened to stay in the controlled by terrorists territories.

 It should be mentioned that according to the Order of the Government of August 13, 2014, the State Emergency Service was allotted from the Reserve Fund of the State Budget additional UAH 10 million that is to be directed to the purchase of basic commodities for the population residing in the controlled by the terrorists territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
