NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine and a Polish company Gaz-System S.A. have signed an agreement to construct a gas
interconnection pipeline between Poland and Ukraine, which will enable Ukraine to
pump from the EU about 10 billion cubic meters of gas.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced at a press
conference on the outcomes of the Ukrainian-Polish intergovernmental
consultations chaired by the Head of the Government of Ukraine and Chairman of
the Council of Ministers of Poland Ewa Kopacz on Monday, January 19.
