The Government of Ukraine is building a modern ecosystem by attracting foreign investments in the high technology sector and by supporting innovations. This overarching message was delivered in the speeches and presentations of Governmental Commissioner on Investments and First Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Mykhailo Titarchuk, Head of the State Finance Institution for Innovations Volodymyr Stavynyk during the First Ukrainian-Israeli Innovation Forum, which took place on March 18-19, 2018 in Tel Aviv. The participants also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest developments of Ukrainian and Israeli start-ups at the Israeli-Ukrainian Innovation Expo 2018, which was held within the framework of this Forum.

Judging by the reviews of the participants of the Forum, they were presented with an opportunity to see firsthand the Israeli practice of state and private support in the technology sector, in the commercialization of scientific research, and new "start-ups". Such events are an excellent opportunity for establishing ties with the Israeli business community and for future investments in the Ukrainian sphere of high technology.
