The decision of
the Government of Ukraine to break off the program of economic cooperation with
the Russian Federation launched in 2011 will only bring Ukraine an advantage,
balance our export policy and, all in all, make Ukraine stronger. Prime
Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman stressed on air of one of the national TV channels.
"It was
Russia that embarked on inapplicable measures - the war in Donbas, economic
pressure. Therefore,
we had to take such a decision", the Head of Government said, "Our
exports to Europe and Asia are growing. We are only getting
stronger through the breach."
At that, the
Prime Minister emphasized that it is crucial to build production facilities in
Ukraine, to develop the domestic product. "I am
satisfied that we have ceased to depend on Russia. We
possess an enormous potential",
added Volodymyr Groysman.
