The two documents envisage practical
engagement of police, military and non-military personnel from the Netherlands
and Australia, other states whose citizens were aboard the MH17 plane until the
reasons of the airplane’s downing are investigated.
The missions are free to
travel along Ukraine’s territory to get to the locations joined with holding
the investigation process and have a right to search and gather the remnants
as well as investigate the catastrophe, to conduct other kinds of activities
which can be jointly determined by participants of the multinational international
The international investigation
protection mission is comprised of over 700 armed persons, including up to
250 armed personnel from Australia.
