On the results of the meeting the Regional Commission for
emergency situations which was chaired by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr
Groysman in Lviv with participation of
representatives of municipal authorities and leadership of the region there was
taken a decision on the allocation to the Lviv Municipal
Council of a land plot for design and construction of a new landfill for solid
waste. This was announced by Prime Minister following the meeting at the Lviv regional state administration.
"Today we have made a decision at the Commission’s
meeting that one of the plots that were put up to auction will be removed from it
and handed over to the Lviv Municipal Council
quickly, so that they would begin project development and construction of such
a dumping ground and a waste recycling complex,” stressed Volodymyr Groysman. “The

It concerns the plot for a new landfill in Yavoriv area.
Within 6 months the mayor is able to build the new garbage
dump, a sorting station in order to avoid any threats and after 6 months to
safely dispose sorted garbage, explained Volodymyr Groysman.
